Phase 1: Content Strategy — Month 1
- Kickoff Call: A 90-minute discussion of your content goals, software, market, and audience that will set the foundation for your new insight-driven content.
- Insight-Driven SEO Content Roadmap: An SEO content strategy deck and content calendar that are designed around your users’ needs, your software’s strengths, and your marketing goals, so you’re never left wondering what to publish or why.
- Content Strategy Review Call: A one-hour walkthrough of how your Insight-Driven SEO Content Roadmap will help you attract your ideal users, drive sales, and fulfill your business goals.
Phase 2: Monthly Content Creation — Months 2-7
- Monthly Insight-Driven Content Briefs: Four SEO content briefs per month for six months to help your team create strategic, relevant content that’s aligned with your marketing and sales goals
- Insight-Driven SEO Content: Two SEO-optimized 1,500–2,000 word articles per month for six months with one round of revisions per article, so you get consistent, high-quality articles without overwhelming your content team.

The Insight-Driven SEO Roadmap is a done-with-you program. Here's how we'll work together to plan, create, and promote insight-driven SEO content that guides your ideal users into your sales funnel:
Phase 1: Insight-Driven SEO Content Strategy Development
Kickoff Call
To kick off your Insight-Driven SEO Roadmap project, we'll meet for a 90-minute call to explore your software, discuss your target audience, and clarify your content marketing goals to set the foundation for your Insight-Driven SEO Roadmap.
SEO Content Calendar Development
- Product Research and Audience Research: After our kickoff call, I’ll review your software, marketing materials, and any customer research you share to better understand how your software works, who your software helps, and how your brand is positioned in your industry. I’ll also dig into third-party reviews and forums to better understand how your audience view your software and how they talk about their challenges, goals, and perceptions of software like yours.
- Jobs-to-be-Done Research: After I've learned about your software and buyers, I’ll use the Jobs-to-be-Done framework to build a list of content topics based on your software’s core use cases, market positioning, and customer journeys.
- Keyword Research: I’ll use SEO keyword research tools to find high-intent, problem-aware keywords that relate to each topic I've found during my Jobs-to-be-Done research. I’ll also review your competitors’ content to find additional topics and keywords that your ideal users are searching for but your competitors haven’t covered well.
- Topic Clustering and Prioritization: I’ll group the keywords into topic clusters based on their search intents and content funnel stages. Then, I’ll prioritize the topic clusters based on their potential impact on your business goals to create your insight-driven SEO content calendar. The calendar will clearly show what content you should to publish, when to publish it, and how each piece supports your goals and ROI.
Content Strategy Review Call
We’ll wrap up the first phase of your Insight-Driven SEO Roadmap project with a one-hour content strategy review call to go over your full strategy. I’ll walk you through my research findings and key insights, explain how your new content strategy supports your business goals, and show your team how to use your new content calendar to keep your content creation process on track.
At the end of the content strategy review call, I’ll answer your team's questions, so you're ready to move forward with the content creation phase of your roadmap.
Phase 2: Monthly Insight-Driven SEO Content Creation
Topic Selection
At the start of each month, you’ll choose four topics from your content calendar for us to focus on. These will guide the content we develop together that month.
Content Brief Development and Review
I’ll create detailed content briefs for each topic. These include the article’s goal, audience insights, keyword focus, structure, and product tie-ins, so your team has everything needed to create focused, useful content.
You'll review the content briefs and choose two for me to use to create new insight-driven articles for your blog. Your team is welcome to use the other two content briefs for in-house content creation or future planning.
Content Writing
I’ll use the content briefs you've chosen to write two SEO-optimized articles for your blog each month. Once each article is written, I'll send it to you for review.
Review and Revisions
I'll give you access to the drafts in Google Docs so you can use "Suggestion Mode" to make revisions to better align the content with your voice, brand, and style.
After each article is sent to you for revisions, you will have three business days to provide feedback and make edits using "Suggestion Mode" in Google Docs.
Final Delivery
I'll make your requested edits, polish the drafts, and send you the finished drafts as Microsoft Word documents so you can easily upload the content to your website's CMS.
Content Promotion Add-on: LinkedIn Repurposing and Promotion
For an additional fee, I'll turn each article I write into a LinkedIn newsletter and promotional post. Each newsletter will include an SEO title and description, and links back to your article, so you can benefit from SEO before your original article starts to rank in search!
